bf67 # Stunning Heliconius Butterfly Glass Dome Display! This beautiful guy is surrounded by preserved flowers and foliage and other natural elements! The colors are beautiful! There is also a real snail and a ladybug, it will take a while to see everything that is showcased in the dome! The display is approx. 8 x 6".

Species: Heliconius Doris
Heliconius comprises a colorful and widespread genus of brush-footed butterflies commonly known as the longwings or heliconians. This genus is distributed throughout the tropical and subtropical regions of the New World, from South America as far north as the southern United States. The larvae of these butterflies eat Passion flower vines (Passifloraceae). Adults exhibit bright wing color patterns which signal their distastefulness to potential predators.

Butterflies are loved by all and are one of our very favorite insects. They do not sting or bite which makes them even more popular! This butterfly has been showcased in a glass dome so it can be enjoyed for years to come and stay safe and clean. These make wonderful gifts and are so beautiful most anyone receiving would be thrilled to have one!

NOTE: If your item is in a glass dome please be aware that the domes are NOT permanently connected to the base. Care has to be taken when opening or removing the dome so not to damage the display or specimen.

If you are purchasing one of my Victorian displays and are familiar with Antique Victorian displays, you are aware of that they have usually fallen into disarray and disintegrated to the point that they no longer show well. My displays mimic the antique look without everything being washed out and tattered due to extreme age. I keep my displays as economical as possible enabling me to make them a lot more affordable than the true antiques. Every display shows well and is sure to be noticed and commented on! All my displays are hand crafted using only the highest quality of items available and as many natural pieces as possible. All specimens, animals, insects and flora, used in our displays or offered by us are sustainably sourced. This means the sale of this item does not hurt the species or the environment.

When purchasing this item you are agreeing to the following: No claims for small broken parts such as antennae or a detached wing, antennae are so fragile that they cannot be guaranteed in shipping. Wings and other small parts are easily fixable and you should be aware that you may have to fix (glue) a part when purchasing items like these. These are natural specimens and can contain a flaw or two like a shorter antenna or broken or missing leg. We do our best to make sure they are close to perfect but a few might get by us although usually the flaw is minor and something that does not deflect from the beauty of the insect itself. If there is a major problem I will take care of the matter. See my feedback for confirmation. I rarely have a problem but even with good packaging it is impossible for us to Guarantee that specimens will arrive totally intact although I have had very few problems to date.

All displays will be carefully packed to the best of our ability to insure a safe and damage free arrival. With Ground Advantage and Priority mail you will be covered by $100 worth of insurance. If damage occurs in shipping and your item was shipped with Ground Advantage or Priority mail, the post office now requires you to bring the package in to a postal center/office for inspection before any insurance payments will be approved and the item has to be in the original shipping box with all packing as you received still in box. Your refund will be processed once the package has been inspected and the receipt from the post office acknowledging the inspection is forwarded to us. This is an ordeal that no one wants to go through, including us, so we do our best to make sure no one has too!

Please contact us as soon as you receive if you would like to return the item. Returns are accepted if the request is received for the return within 14 days of delivery and the return must be received by us within 30 days of the delivery. Return shipping to be paid by buyer. Once the item is returned a refund will be issued. There are no refunds on shipping charges.
Items that ship free and are returned for incorrect address or insufficient address will be charged a restocking fee or shipping fee to cover initial shipping costs and the balance refunded or given the option to purchase shipping for resending the item with corrected address.
If there was an original shipping fee and the item is returned for an incorrect or insufficient address and you would like the item resent, the option will be given to repurchase shipping. There are no refunds on initial shipping for an incorrect or insufficient address.
